Introduction to Cheonggyecheon Stream
It is 10.84km in length and the gross area is 59.83㎢. All water of Seoul basin that is surrounded by Mt. Buak, Mt, Inwang, and Mt. Nam flows toward east and then is merged around the Salgoji Bridge out of Wansimni area with Jungnangcheon (stream). This stream flows toward west and eventually enters the Han River.
22 bridges of Cheonggyecheon Stream
As you walk along Cheonggyecheon, you can see a total of 22 bridges and 12 fountains, and enjoy the unique pleasure of walking among the surrounding skyscrapers. The scenery during the day as well as the night view is wonderful, and it is a place with a lot to see because it is connected to nearby tourist attractions.
